Music

Robed Choir

Our Sunday robed choir lead the congregation in worship. They rehearse from 9.30am on Sunday mornings with occasional addition rehearsals ahead of major festivals. We are an open choir without rehearsals and you can join whether you are a prima donna or dipping your toes into the world of sacred music for the first time.

Additionally Sophie, our director of music, offers sight reading classes for those in the choir or aspiring to sing who want to improve their musical understanding.

Children's Choir

During term time we offer free children’s choral lessons on a Monday afternoon from 3.30pm-5.00pm. No experience necessary. All lessons are led by Sophie, our director of music, alongside a team of volunteer supporters. All adults are DBS checked and have undergone safeguarding training.

Children are invited to sing for major festivals throughout the church year approximately once every couple of months.

Prayer & Spirituality

Our conversation with God takes many forms. Whenever we worship together in church, we are praying corporately as the Body of Christ. But we are also called to seek out God through individual prayer. Although it is a deeply personal process, developing a pattern of prayer and spiritual practice often requires guidance and support from others.

There are many different ways to deepen your spiritual practice.  Some of these are listed below.  If you would like some help or guidance, please contact one of the Clergy.

The Sacrament of Reconciliation

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is an opportunity to make a personal confession of sin to a priest, seek God’s absolution, and thereby make a new beginning in the Christian life.
